What is DERMAPEN® 4.0?
Dermapen® is an innovative device used for precise fractional micro-puncturing of the skin. We perform a series of micropunctures ranging from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm, changing the depth during the procedure. The resulting micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s natural regenerative abilities by inducing the synthesis of new collagen. Vascularization of the skin is improved and its structure is strengthened and remodeled. Function of automatic skin puncturing with up to 16 pulsating needles (instead of 12 needles as in previous device) used in DERMAPEN® 4.0 device punctures the skin up to 1920 times. Patented technology of pulsating DERMAPEN® needles is not only more effective and safer, but also faster than previously known methods used in micro-puncturing. The procedure can be performed on the face, neck, neckline, and virtually any area of the body.
Microneedling procedure can be combined with acids such as PRX/PQAge to enhance skin remodeling, shallowing of scars or stretch marks. We always perform a series of treatments, the number of repetitions depends on the needs of the skin.

What does the treatment look like?
The treatment is performed by a cosmetologist who selects an appropriate treatment protocol dedicated for the specific patient’s skin needs. Some protocols are preceded by local anaesthesia. After the treatment, depending on the ampoule or acid used, there may be some peeling of the epidermis, as well as skin redness, which disappears after a few hours. Micro-abrasions may occur around the treated area and local bleeding may appear right after the treatment.
