Aesthetic medicine

In 1973 French Society of Aesthetic Medicine has been founded and it is the year which is considered to be the beginning of aesthetic medicine. In 1978, aesthetic medicine has been introduced as an academic subject in Milan.

1994 is considered to be the beginning of aesthetic medicine in Poland. That is the year of establishing the Aesthetic Medicine Section of the Polish Medical Society in Poland.

Today aesthetic medicine is becoming widely known and used by both, men and women, making the treatments less of a taboo. Thanks to the changes in approach, aesthetic medicine can develop more fully and thus increase the quality of life of many patients around the world.
